Terence is an incoming Health Data Science Intern at the Department of Health & Social Care with an MSc in Clinical and Molecular Microbiology from the University of Nottingham, where he earned a Distinction and received the Outstanding Research Project Prize. His academic work focused on developing reproducible laboratory and data analysis workflows, including a high-throughput imaging pipeline for studying bacterial biofilms, combining experimental microbiology with Python- and R-based analytics. He also holds a HarvardX certification in Data Science with Python, and he is keen to strengthen his data-driven research and decision-making skills through the internship.
He is passionate about the intersection of clinical science and data-driven policy, and is eager to contribute to health equity and better patient outcomes through meaningful, population-level research.
